Magic Mushroom enrollment is now closed for Summer 2010

Magic Mushroom News 2010

As we get closer to July, we take inventory of the many supply needs for the program. Please consider donating to this worthy cause! In addition, if you’d like to donate kitchen and/or cleaning supplies, here is a list in case you see good sales at your local grocery!

Kitchen/Cleaning Supplies:
Disinfectant wipes (about 4 containers)
Anti-bacterial soft soap (about 10 bottles)
Masking tape (different colors and sizes)
409 countertop cleaner (or similar, for both metal and plastic surfaces)
Dixie cups
Bandaids
Broom (2 tall brooms)
Dustpan (w/matching brush)
Paper plates (dessert size, about 300)
Dishwashing liquid (1 bottle)
Quart-sized freezer bags (both for kitchen and art supplies)

Food:
(should have a shelf life of about 4 months, so as long as it's still good in July) Pretzels
Canned fruit (in fruit juice, rather than syrup, if possible)

Please note:

This program, by length and by curriculum, is structured around a four-week period. Therefore, we ask that families commit to at least three weeks of the program (barring illness or family emergency).

Tuition costs are for the entire program, and families are responsible for the total balance, regardless of how many weeks their children attend. For your convenience, you have the option of making weekly payments. However, if your tuition balance isn’t paid by Wednesday, July 28th, you will not be eligible to enroll the following year.

We ask that families respect the 9:00 a.m. start time, as our staff has a lot of fun activities and important lessons to cover in just three hours!

The 2010 program runs from Monday, July 5th through Thursday, July 29th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please check your summer schedules to see if you are able to commit to the length of the program.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to call Lee Stein, MM Administrative Director, at 773-267-0175. Thank you for supporting Magic Mushroom. Our mission is to serve the community and provide a meaningful, nurturing experience for your children. We appreciate your cooperation!
