Scouting programs for boys at Irving Park Lutheran Church offers both Cub Scouts (ages 7 to 10) as well as Boy Scouts (ages 11 to 18). Both groups meet in the IPLC gymnasium and are very active with field trips, campouts, and advancement.
The Cub Scouts meet on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8:30 pm. The boys do crafts, build and race pinewood derby cars, and camp out with their leaders and parents.
The Boy Scouts meet on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. The boys learn camping and survival skills, first aid and do week-end campouts monthly.
The scouting programs run from September through June, with an annual 10 day summer camp in northern Wisconsin.
Contact the church office for information on these programs.
