Along with life come questions- questions about the future, questions about the past, questions about the way the world is- about poverty and suffering, questions about justice and peace. We gather together at Irving Park Lutheran church to seek out answers to questions. This is the place where people can gather together bringing with them their questions, their doubts, their certainties, and their experiences and know that where even two gather, God is in their midst.
We are a community of care and support. We believe in the holiness of all of creation, the grace by which God meets us, and the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. Through relationships with people in this church community, in the neighborhood, and in the world we seek to be vessels of the peace and justice that mark the ministry of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to join us for worship, or to stop by and visit our congregation. This is most certainly an exciting place to experience the work of God!
