What does your team do?
Active in local community service organizations, the Service Team recommends to the council how to best use the congregational benevolence dollars to benefit organizations in the community, country, and world. Additionally, each year, the team recommends a congregational member to receive the Donna Jean Holmquist Volunteer of the Year award.
When do they meet?
The Service Team meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.
How is God’s work accomplished by your team?
The service team lives out Jesus' words in Matthew 25:34-45: I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. . . as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.
